Janelle Holden,

Registered Physiotherapist, Functional Dry Needling, Active Release Techniques®, Selective Functional Movement Assessment™

Janelle has been practicing physiotherapy in Kingston, Ontario for 3 years and has moved to the area and joined our team. She is a graduate of Queen's University.  Janelle earned a dual degree in Physical and Health Education and Science, mastering in Biology. She then took a year off before returning to Queen’s University to complete her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.
 
Janelle's approach to care focuses on restoring proper movement patterns based on strength and flexibility. She specializes in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Active Release Techniques (ART) and Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT). Janelle has also taken advance courses in Manual Therapy, the Ankle Complex, Sport First Responder, the jaw, and McKenzie Method.  

In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, running with her dog, spending time with friends and family, and playing volleyball. She was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and grew up in Kingston, Ontario, where her family still lives. She is described as energetic, friendly, approachable and compassionate, and will add an abundance of positive energy to the team.
